What we did in 2019
After Hurricane Irma destroyed over 90% of our sister island Barbuda in September of 2017, Antigua and Barbuda Emergency Relief Canada initiated an appeal for donations to assist in the rebuilding of Barbuda.
In collaboration with the Barbuda Council, we agreed to assist in the rebuilding of the Holy Trinity School. Most of the funds donated were used to purchase building materials, supplies, paint, electrical supplies and fixtures as well as fencing materials and the storage container used to ship the items to Barbuda.
The school was finally cleared for use and occupancy in January of 2020.
